Something for Everyone

  • Adaptive Lessons: for children and adults with physical or mental disabilities. Lessons are customized based on each rider’s specific needs and are proven to help improve physical, sensory, cognitive, emotional, and social skills.

  • Horsemanship Lessons: for all ages and abilities wanting to learn to ride or improve their skills. Adults and children of all abilities see physical and mental improvements in their daily lives through riding lessons!

Private or Group Lessons

Every student has their own unique learning style, and GaitWay adapts to each rider with the opportunity for one-on-one lessons or group settings if your rider learns best by watching others.

Classes are held Monday through Friday from 9am - 7pm and Saturdays 9am-2pm

-Adaptive Group: $55/lesson -Horsemanship Group: $60/lesson
-Adaptive Private: $65/lesson   -Horsemanship Private: $70/lesson

Equine Science

Homeschool Course

Come spend 8 weeks with us learning all things equine! From basic identification and health to anatomy and so much more.

Your child will receive in-class instruction, hands-on horse interaction, and riding time.

Mondays: September 9th - October 28th, 2024

Mondays: January 13th - March 3rd, 2025

9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Cost: $400 per student (includes all instructional material)

Summer Camp

GaitWay Summer Camp 2025

🌞🐴 Join Us for a Fun-Filled Summer at GaitWay! 🐴🌞

GaitWay’s Summer Camp offers an engaging and inclusive experience for children of all abilities! Whether your child is neurotypical or has special needs, our camp provides a safe and supportive environment where they can build confidence, make friends, and develop horsemanship skills.

📅 Camp Dates:

  • May 26 – May 30- FULL

  • June 9 – June 13 (2 spot remaining)

  • June 23 – June 27 (7 spots remaining)

  • July 7 – July 11 (7 spots remaining)

⏰ Camp Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
🌅 Early Drop-Off: Available as early as 7:00 AM for an additional $50

Campers will enjoy hands-on horse interactions, riding sessions, barn activities, and fun educational experiences tailored to their skill level. Spots are limited, so be sure to register early!

Foster Care Rider Program

At GaitWay Therapeutic Horsemanship, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the healing power of horses. Our Foster Care Scholarship Program provides children in foster care with exceptionalities the chance to participate in six therapeutic riding lessons during our spring or fall semester, made possible through the generosity of our donors.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must currently be in foster care

  • Minimum age of 4 years old

  • Must have a diagnosed exceptionality

  • Scholarship is one-time use per child
