GaitWay provides Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) to children and adults of the special needs community. GaitWay offers a journey toward independence by empowering those challenged with disabilities, accidents or illness through Adaptive Sports Riding, Interactive Vaulting and Equine Assisted Therapy. We desire to be a source of hope for our clients. Healing takes place physically, cognitively, socially, and emotionally with goals geared toward optimal functioning in daily life. At GaitWay, children and adults with disabilities move beyond their boundaries through the healing power of the horse and the dedication of professionals and a caring community.
GaitWay’s mission is to improve the lives, bodies, and spirits of children and adults with disabilities through Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies, and to be an inspiration and educational resource to the therapeutic riding profession.
We are in the process of redesigning our Web site. Check back soon for updates and information on GaitWay, our services and volunteer information. In the meantime, download our brochure to learn more.
